How much does stump grinding cost on Oahu?
We charge $4 per inch of diameter at ground level, with a $150 job minimum. Stumps 36" or wider are 25% more, and backyard or hard-to-reach stumps add 15–30%. Book online and save 10%.
How do I measure my stump?
Measure straight across the widest part of the stump at ground level, in inches. Close is fine — we honor your quote unless the stump is very different from what was entered.
How deep do you grind?
Typically 6–8 inches below grade, which is enough to lay sod or soil over the area.
What happens to the wood chips?
We rake the chips back into the hole by default. Ask in your notes if you'd like them hauled away.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can reach the stump and any gate is unlocked. Please mark sprinkler lines and shallow utilities.
Can you grind palm stumps?
Yes — coconut and other palm stumps grind quickly and are priced the same way.
